The living is the most important part of the house, regardless of its size. It‘s a social area where guests are invited and where you spend most of your time when you‘re home. In most modern homes, the living room and the kitchen share an open plan which is a very smart idea. They are both social areas and by combining them you gain more space.
This next one is an elegant, classy room. It has graphic prints on the walls and pillows and it feels airy. This blue and white beach-house room has comfy white furniture, beachy wall art and big windows that soak it in natural light. This living room is a bachelor‘s pad, it is wood paneled, furnished simple and has car and bicycle parking. A 70’s looking room with wood paneled floors, gold details and comfortable furniture. Notice the subtle orange accents that complement the light color palette and the texture on the walls, the rug and the way all these subtle hints merge to form a welcoming room. Layout is very important when you‘re dealing with a small space. It;s why we find this traditional living room very charming. The fireplace takes center stage, with two armchairs framing it and a 2-seater sofa in front of it. It‘s the perfect combination. Although this room is only wide enough to incorporate a three-seater sofa, somehow it doesn’t feel tiny. The large windows and the sliding glass doors that lead outdoors definitely help but the key is the simplicity of the design.
This open concept living space feels airy and inviting at the same time. White walls throughout the home keep the otherwise busy architecture, with lots of corners and hard edges, from being overwhelming or harsh. The look is softened by interesting but subdued colors on textiles. On the formal side of home style, with its moldings, moldings, and more moldings, this traditional space appears fresh and warm with its pinkish-white walls. Although the architectural details are definitely noticeable, they don’t overwhelm the space in more attention-grabbing colors. This bright space is ideal for family gatherings, entertaining, and music. Pale green trim is complemented by the white walls and lovely wood floors. Pale yellow wall mouldings highlight the height of the walls and the interesting curves as walls meet ceiling. Even with its white walls, the living room is simple, inviting, and casually colorful.
